Kids 3D Lab is made for children, so we keep this simple: we don't collect anything about you. Here is exactly how it works.
For kids, in short
- You don't need an account. We never ask for your name, age or email.
- What you build stays on your computer.
- There are no adverts and no chat.
Your builds
Your builds are kept in your own web browser (so a refresh never loses them) and in .kids3d files you choose to save. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. Clearing your browser's site data deletes the copies in the browser, so save important builds as files.
Kids 3D Lab also remembers a few small settings in your browser: your snap step, your printer, and whether you have seen the tour.
What we don't do
- No accounts, sign-ups or logins.
- No advertising and no advertising trackers.
- No analytics or tracking scripts.
- We don't sell or share any information, because we don't have any.
Things outside Kids 3D Lab
- Hosting. The website is hosted by Vercel. Like every web host, it keeps basic technical logs (such as which page was asked for and when) to run the service and keep it safe.
- Fonts. The lettering comes from Google Fonts, so your browser downloads it from Google.
- Copy and paste. When you copy shapes, they go on your own computer's clipboard, so you can paste them into another tab.
Grown-ups: Kids 3D Lab needs no personal information to work, and it has none. If you have a question about privacy, please get in touch with the people who run this website.
